Di utilises a play focus in her application of the NeuroDevelopmental therapy approach to the assessment and management of children with movement disorders.

EARLY INTERVENTION
Di is experienced working with babies and young children with NeuroDevelopmental difficulties.
Early Intervention with early therapy supports is essential to ensure babies and young children have the opportunity to reach their functional potential.
Di values supporting families through the early years, enabling them to confidently look towards the future for their child’s participation in child care, kinder and school.
TEAM WORK
Di frequently works alongside Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Early Childhood Educators and Teachers.
Di communicates regularly with the child’s medical specialists and rehabilitation teams involved in their care.
Collaboration between team members facilitates best outcomes for children and their families.
WHERE
Therapy services can be delivered:
- In rooms – a purpose set up playroom.
- Home visits – in a child’s natural environment.
- Child care or School – to support the child and their educators in meeting goals.
- Other community settings.
- Travel fee is incurred for out of rooms sessions.
ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY
The provision of assistive technology – specialist equipment – can significantly enhance a child’s independence and participation in their daily life.
